Mother and Child gothic arch.

Here is my arch for this weeks Gothic challange and a great theme it is too. I have ink padded my arch brown. The inner arch is bleached black card, with pink and lilac paint dabbed onto it, with gold braid for the trim.

Wow, this is amazing. Your arch is so beautiful. The edging is fantastic (do you do that yourself with a crochet hook perhaps?) and the image is delicious. The whole effect is of added dimensions. It is not just a flat photo. I hope everyone takes the time to see it in the enlarged form because the detail is scrumptious.

Oh Jen, this is lovely. I really like how you've worked with the image to create a very beautiful arch that captures the bond between mother and child.
